Hunting places are forty minutes drive from lodge. During winter, mornings are
cold (around 35°/40°F) getting warmer as the sun comes up.

The lodge itself has eight spacious two bedded bedrooms with private bathrooms, a mudroom for removing and drying boots and clothing, a large dinning room, a traditional old fashioned kitchen and a large living room with overstuffed chairs and sofas arranged around a fire place. Food and wines are of gourmet quality.
It takes no longer than 20 minutes to get from the lodge to the blind.
