The first luxury fly fishing dorado Lodge of the world
Wild Pampas offers lodges and guide services with some of the best accesses of the Ibera Marsh north of Buenos Aries. This is the birthplace of the Corrientes Rivers and home to schools of voracious trout-like Dorado. This "River Tiger", as it is locally known, can exceed 3O pounds and will wage an acrobatic battle capable of making Steelhead seem tame. The Corrientes River drains thousands of acres of crystal clear up-welling water that is the Ibera Marsh. Because of the up-welling source, the water flows are consistent and clear throughout the year. This provides conditions suitable for fly-fishing regardless of seasons and increased precipitation. Within the marsh there is a maze of channels, lagoons, bays and tributaries coming from every direction.
Floating lines and traditional saltwater streamers as well as many of the company´s own deadly patterns are used to make tasty presentation to waking fish.
Pira Lodge was designed to provided its guests not only with a remarkable fishing experience, but also with tremendous comfort.
